I called the shop at 2 pm and they surprised me saying that it would be ready by 3 PM! That was awesome, only my Aunt couldn't take me to get the bike. She said, "just take an Uber." That's what I did. I got kitted up, through my cycling shoes into a little shoulder bag, requested a car and went over to the bike shop. The bike was ready to rock! I even bought a jersey to say thank you for turning it around so quickly.
It was a three mile ride back to my Aunt's house and was it ever hot and flat. My Aunt gave me a list of roads to stay away from because they are super busy and she never sees cyclist on them. I had also reached out to Facebook group to find some routes and was given the same advice.
When I got back to my Aunt's house, I had an Old Style and a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich while fine tuning the route for my afternoon ride.
