I set out Sunday to do a really big ride, I was thinking 80+ miles. My route took me through Webutuck, NY where I caught up with Bigfoot at a tackle shop on the 10 mile river.
My route took me up a bucolic Old Rt 22 and while it started out
flat later down the road it becomes very hilly
Obviously, I am not the only one finding this route popular to ride seeing this sign
Riding up through NY and then over to Sharon, CT I climbed Rt 4 only to descend to Cornwall Bridge
And get some beautiful views from the bridge of the Housitonic River
Lunch at the Cornwall Deli
Power Ade, Potato Salad and a Pickle!
The view from Bridgewater and almost home
The loop around Lake Waramug put me over 90 miles
Ice cold Narraganssett hit the spot
